trip to NYC is March19-23. Tentative educational
activities include the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Wall Street, Ground
Zero, a Broadway Play (Wicked or The Lion King), Central Park, Strawberry
Fields, Trump Tower, Grand Central Terminal, Good Morning America Show, the
Today Show, Top of the Rock, Chinatown, Time Square lodging, and a City Tour.
Travel home will follow a dinner/dance cruise on the last night. We will arrive home mid-morning the next
day. Check with Mrs. Wills to see if
any available spots remain. Cost is

on four to a room. If you would like fewer in your chaperone room, the price

Plans are now under
way for Project Graduation—the all-night, lock-in celebration following
graduation. The next meeting is February 4, 6:00 pm at GRC. We need tons of volunteers planning for it
in the next few months. Contact Mrs.
Wills if you are interested in helping out.

Prom will be Saturday,
May 10, 2014, 8:00 pm until
midnight at GRC. Prom tickets will be
$35 per person. A guest request is required for all NON GRC seniors. The theme this year is the Great Gatsby. A professional photographer will be available
The Board of Education will set the date when the threat of severe weather has passed. Graduation will be held at Cardinal Stadium at the old GRC. Girls
wear white graduation robes and guys wear red. Dress attire under the gowns will need to
adhere to the following guidelines: Girls need to wear a white dress,
skirt, or Capri pants and white shoes (NO beach flip flops) hemlines are to
be above the gown hemline. Guys wear a button-down dress shirt, tie,
dark dress pants and dress shoes.
