Cheerleading
GRC's varsity cheerleaders finished 3rd in the KAPOS state competition Feb. 18 at Western Kentucky University. Dunbar won the division. The photo gallery at right showcases the GRC Varsity cheerleaders' 10th Region championship Jan. 22 at Nicholas County.
The cheerleaders also won grand champion at the Pendleton County Cats Cheer Cup competition Jan. 7, and finished third in the Sweet 16 cheer competition. |

2012 10th Region Champions
The GRC Varsity cheerleaders won the 10th Region KAPOS competition Jan. 22 at Nicholas County, and will advance to state competition Feb. 18 at Western Kentucky University. Adaisha Skinner and Kaitlyn Marsh were named to the 10th All Region team. Makenzie Waltermire was chosen from 58 seniors from the entire region for the 10th Region Outstanding Cheerleader Award, an academic- and athletic-based honor. CONGRATULATIONS!
