Cross Country
Cross Country teams fare well in state GRC senior Alex White finished 10th overall at the state cross country meet Nov. 12 at the Kentucky Horse Park. This was the highest finish of any Clark County cross country athlete in school history. Alex, region winner for the past two years, also was named KHSAA Sportsman of the Year. Congratulations! In final team standings, the boys' team placed 25th and the girls finished 28th. It was the girls' fourth straight trip to state, and the boys' second straight. In his region championship Nov. 5, White reset his own regional record time and a Lykins Park course record time when he covered the 5K distance in 16:44:07. |
