Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) www.fafsa.ed.gov:

Most students who are enrolling in a college or university must complete the FAFSA. It determines the amount of federal and state financial aid and scholarship funds an
individual may receive for college education. Students and parents may use the FAFSA4caster for estimate financial aid eligibility.

Applications are completed after Jan. 1 of their senior year.

During your Junior Year:
• Meet with your guidance counselor to discuss postsecondary plans
• Keep grades up and to ensure KEES and other grant funds
• Prepare to take the ACT in March. Go to www.actstudent.org for test
preparation
• List, compare, and visit colleges, universities, technical/vocational school
• If interested in military, schedule an appointment with armed forces recruiter
• Investigate scholarship opportunities

Clark County Music Alumni
The Clark County Music Alumni Scholarship application is available in the Counseling Center and must be returned to William Dotson by June 24. The school will not process these applications in the summer.

Horatio Alger Association Scholarship
Critical financial need, minimum GPA 2.0, community service or extracurricular, plan on attending college fall 2013.
