Clark County Public Schools has been approved for 10 Non-Traditional Instruction Days for this year.
An explanation of NTI days is included on the Kentucky Department of Education website:
"The Non-Traditional Instruction Program (NTI) is a program that encourages the continuation of learning on days when school would otherwise be canceled. The Commissioner of Education can waive up to 10 NTI days to count towards student attendance days in the school districts’ calendars."
If an NTI Day is called in Clark County, GRC students will log in to Google Classroom and complete work based on the schedule below.
Check the school website, the GRC Twitter (@GRCCards), and the Smoke Signals Student Media Facebook (@grcsmokesignals) for updates on cancellations and which NTI schedule to follow.
