Coleman wins UK Invitational Session planned to explain new state standards
Kentucky's new academic standards will be explained to parents of preschool through high school age students at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center, 37 N. Highland St. The event is sponsored by the First Baptist Church Education Ministry in conjunction with CCPS Family Resource & Youth Services Centers. Lunch will be served. ACT Test Prep available to help students GRC juniors and seniors who took the ACT practice test this fall have access to an online ACT test prep program through Triumph College Admissions. Financial Aid Workshop set FAFSA (financial aid) Workshop will be held on Feb. 2 at 6 p.m. in the GRC library. Parents and students may register prior to Jan. 1 for PIN (www.pin.ed.gov) and can complete worksheet (http://www.fafsa4caster.ed.gov/F4CApp/index/index.isf). It is advised to apply for FAFSA as soon after Jan. 1 as possible. |
