George Rogers Clark High School welcomes Eddie Brooks as the new head baseball coach.
Eddie played Division I baseball at the University of Kentucky. After finishing his college baseball career, he was drafted in the 1994 MLB Draft in 5th Round by the Pittsburgh Pirates.
After his MLB career, he began coaching youth and high school baseball in Kentucky.
His high school baseball head coaching includes Bryan Station High School (2007-2017) and Frederick Douglass High School (2017-2023).
He also spent some time as the head coach for the Lexington Legends during the 2018-2020 seasons.
